Send us a description, the make or model if there is one, and a couple of clear photos. We can usually tell whether there is a sensible route to investigate before you bring the device in.

Can you guarantee that an unusual device will be repairable?
No. Parts availability, safety, undocumented electronics and the economics of the repair can all make an unusual job impractical. We would rather assess the real device and explain that clearly than promise a repair in advance.

A clear photo of the whole device, any model or identification label, visible damage and the relevant connector or circuit area can be useful. Avoid including passwords, personal documents or other unnecessary sensitive information in the photos.
